Catalina (Szentkatolna) lies at 4 kilometres from Târgu Secuiesc, along the 121 high road, which leads to Covasna. From administrative point of view the following villages belong to it: Catalina (Szentkatolna), Hătuica (Hatolyka), Imeni (Imecsfalva), Mărtineni (Kézdimartonfalva) and Mărcușa (Kézdimárkosfalva).
Several mansions survived at Catalina. Two of these mansions deserve a special attention: the Sinkovits mansion, which was built in the empire architectural style of the 19th century and the Kühle mansion. 
 Bálint Gábor (orientalist linguist, geographical traveller, the pioneer of the spread of the Esperanto language) was born here.
